There’s something great about writing places you want to visit on your  travel list, but you know what’s greater? Accountability!!! There are 10 places I want to visit in 2018. I know this is coming in so late, this is first quarter of 2018 already but to me, the year isn’t gone yet, it’s a new quarter with travel goals.

I was talking with my vision partner recently and he gave me a vision exercise. He told me to get a vision room or a book, put up pictures of where I want to go to and call them forth. I will be using this blog as my vision room and book  and I also have my accountability partner in you lovies who keep coming back to read my contents.

So I will be sharing ten places I will like to visit this year hoping y’all will be my accountability partner and hopefully travel partner.

  • Badagry

Badagry has been on my list for a very long time, because I do not only what to hear about the histories I was taught in high school but I want to see the place. I want to visit the first story building in Nigeria, the slave trade, Badagry beach and every great tourist destination I can visit in Badagry. Thankfully, I have a tour guide already, plans are already in place to visit after Exams.

  • Kajuru castle

Kajuru castle is a medieval style at Kajuru village Kaduna. I just want to visit this old architectural beauty. I love reading novels as a kid and I’m most interested in Historical novels, you see where I got my interest in old buildings?

  • Calabar

The only reason why I want to visit Calabar is because of Calabar festival. I’ve been interested in attending the Carnival for a very long time, I actually used to imagine myself wearing the carnival costumes. Calabar carnival usually takes place during the festive season, December. No plans has been made yet but it’s top on my list of to do things in 2018.

  • Ado Awaye

Hands up for my country Nigeria, we have the second suspended lake in the whole wide world. Yeah that’s right! And it’s right in my home town, Oyo state. I can’t wait to visit here, write about it and be part of history.

  • Dubai

Who doesn’t like Dubai? lol. This is top on my list of countries to visit. Considering I’ve never been out of the country before, this will be the first country I will like to visit.

  • Benin Republic

I had plans of visiting Benin Republic to buy thrifted clothes in bail and sell. But sincerely, I will like to go as a tourist as well. I will like to visit pythons temple, though I can’t for the life of me hold a life snake. The place of no return and every awesome destinations in Benin Republic is on my list. I can’t wait to explore.

  • Abuja

It’s the capital city of my country!! I want to explore the national mosque and the city generally. Any reader from Abuja? Coma be my tour guide oo.

  • Ilorin

I want to explore Dada pottery Ilorin. Wondering what’s special about this place? It is the largest traditional pottery making center in the country managed by women.

I will also like to go on the canopy walk in university of ILorin

  • Ijebu ode

I only want to visit Ijebu Ode in Ogun State because of Ojude Oba Festival. Apart from Calabar Carnival, this is the only Carnival I’m looking forward to attend.

  • Morroco

Magical Morroco!! Instagram has been on fire with peppered pictures of Morroco since last year and it’s been on my wanderlust list since then. Funny thing is I just want to visit the desert, don’t ask me why lol.

  1. I’ve been to a few of these places but I’ll still like to explore more of them. Like Calabar for example, I visited in July, so never made it to the Carnival. I’d love to attend that soon. The Ijebu Ode festival looks pretty cool too. That’d be nice to check out.
